			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just from a few visits to my neighborhood YMCA, it is evident that there has been a sharp increase in membership &#8211; probably because of those darned New Years Resolutions. By far the most common choice for one is to, well, get in shape. Whether that means buying a bulky new treadmill to jog on while you watch your favorite show or actually capitalizing on that gym membership you paid for but haven&#8217;t used in the last several months, people are doing everything they can to slim down, or in some cases, to bulk up. Often a time though, people don&#8217;t feel motivated enough. They don&#8217;t see any difference in their bodies with all the effort they are putting in, and eventually, thinking its futile, give up.</p>
<p>Just one piece of advice. How about you give it a month. Take pictures of yourself now, and then in a month, do the same. Keep the same posture in both and see if there actually is a difference or not. Most of the time, people forget how they actually looked, and even in a month, don&#8217;t expect to go from 34 to a 30 in waistlines. Everything takes time. But we are talking about your body, shouldn&#8217;t you give it a high priority?</p>
